Welcome to Casa Perla del Mar! Our oceanfront home was completed in February 2024. This home is designed to give your group a private, luxurious experience in a surfers' paradise. Tucked snugly on the untouched shores of Playa La Saladita, Casa Perla del Mar is all about laid-back, surf-loving get-togethers. You're a 10-minute walk along the coast from a world class longboard break, and just far enough to give you a private, serene experience. Come enjoy the endless waves and beauty! This 4-bedroom home sleeps 8-10 and can be booked together with our sister property next door for groups up to 16 (Casa Encanto, Playa Saladita). This home was designed and built by locally acclaimed architect Angel Sotelo. It features a total of 4 bedrooms, including two oceanfront master suites. 3 of the bedrooms feature king sized beds, and a 4th bedroom has 2 double beds (matrimonial size in Mexico). The bedrooms feature luxury Luuna mattresses and have air conditioning. There are 3.5 bathrooms plus an outdoor shower. Casa Perla del Mar is designed to maximize your indoor-outdoor living spaces. You'll enjoy 3 separate outdoor terraces. On the main level, enjoy an oceanfront infinity pool, along with loungers, outdoor dining, BBQ grill, and hammocks. There is also a large shaded terrace on on the 2nd floor. And, on top, you'll find a rooftop deck with expansive ocean views to the surf break – a perfect spot to enjoy sunset and a drink. The flat beachfront lawn is entirely soft grass and flowering plants, perfect for group gatherings. The kitchen is fully stocked including coffee maker, blender, and all new appliances. High-speed satellite internet (Starlink) with wi-fi is included. We also provide fresh drinking water and daily maid service (except for Sundays). Our amazing property manager, Erwing, and cleaning staff will meet you on site to ensure you’re well taken care of – we can help arrange transportation/taxis, boat rides, massages, childcare/nanny, and hiring a local cook for your group (a highly recommended treat!).
I've been to Saladita 5 times with a group of friends for surfing and unplugging. Collectively we've stayed at about a dozen different houses. Bryan's is the best of all. The level of design, quality of materials, and overall aesthetic that he created with this house surpasses any we've experienced in town. Also, he could not have been faster with his responses or more helpful. Also, his staff are exceptional. You'll be well taken care of. Definitely hands down the best trip we've had there because of this house. We'll be back.
Casually Luxurious is how I would describe our stay at this property. You know when you rent a house on air BNB, and you arrive and its half the size, the towels smell weird and there is just a general strange eeriness to it? This place is the opposite of all that. Everything about it felt deluxe, comfortable, easy and convenient. It is truly RIGHT on the beach. You the hypnotic and relaxing sound of the ocean is omnipresent. We comfortably fit 7 people, three couples and a single without a single hiccup. There was so much space it never felt cramped. Everyone had their own bathroom. There was no dainty tip toeing around one another. I was worried we were too far from the wave but it was a 7-10 min walk. Not bad at all. This place is lovely but the true highlight are the staff like Freddy, Gabi, and the Chef Gladys who are all incredible, kind, and attentive. They made the trip special. Do yourself a favor, hire the Chef, tip everyone well, and enjoy a small slice of paradise.
Bryan’s house exceeded our expectations. The location was perfect, just outside the main surf area/town, so nice and quiet but very walkable. The house had beautiful details, comfortable beds, amazing views, & everything we needed or wanted was available. His staff were amazing, extremely accommodating, kind and thoughtful. Bryan’s communication was quick & super helpful - any questions we had before the trip, he had answers and fast responses. We really couldn’t have asked for a better vacation and home. We were able to have a chef during the trip and the food was amazing. The house was super clean and inviting. Freddy his maintenance man was so great too. We hope to return!
Casa Perla del Mar was awesome!!! I think it was 2 weeks or so after construction/furnishing was completed, so everything was new and in amazing shape, exactly as described and pictured in the listing. Our favorite features were the outdoor showers, the pool and pool terrace, the gorgeous wood dining table, and the views from the outdoor and rooftop patios. Sunset on the rooftop deck was awesome. Rooms were clean and spacious, and the beds were very comfortable. Bryan was easy to communicate with and the staff working there were very friendly. We had Gabi prepare us some garlic shrimp and fish, which were delicious! We surfed the Saladita surf break, a leisurely walk down the beach, and at the Ranch, which was a short drive away and so much fun. We highly recommend this beautiful home and will be back for our next surf trip to Saladita!
THE SURF
Playa Saladita is the best left-hand point break in all of Mexico, offering up long, cruising rides of over 100 meters in warm water. The waves are consistent across seasons and friendly for beginners and longboard aficionados alike. Plenty of rental shops and surf schools dot the beach as you walk towards the break, and you'll start seeing surfers enter the lineup as soon as day breaks and into the last light of sunset.
Shortboarders can explore other breaks up the coast - The Ranch and Palo Alto. You can even choose if you want to drive the 30 minutes or simply rent a ride on a panga heading there from the Saladita shore.
THE FOOD
Saladita is a mega-chill beach town. Close to the surf break/house, there are cantinas serving fish tacos, camarones, margaritas, and the best guacamole you can imagine. The best part? You never even have to put on your shoes.
For those looking to work and play, there are a few hangouts with open tables, artisanal coffee, wifi, and a steady stream of zoom calls.
Pick up your snacks and a few staples at a new market just up the road, and you're set.
Our number one recommendation? Hire local chefs into your own kitchen, and have them prepare chile rellenos and a fresh catch of the day -- our property manager will help you arrange this special treat.

自我介绍
After living in Mission Beach for several years, I was lucky enough to buy a place here and call it home in November 2012. And we just made our new home, Casa Perla del Mar, in Playa La Saladita, Mexico, a reality as of February 2024! For work I'm a physician at UCSD, and for play I enjoy beach volleyball, surfing, stand-up paddleboarding and just about everything else there is to do here at the beach.
