The Villa consists of four spacious buildings with thatched roofs created from palm fronds by local craftsmen mixing durability and artistry. Scenic vistas include the ever-changing sea, acres of untouched tropical landscapes and the Sierra Madre del Sur Mountains. Gentle waves offer the ultimate backdrop to meditate or lullaby into a perfect night's sleep. As this Mexican vacation destination lies close to a rainforest, walking or hiking in the canopy is only a stone’s throw away. A mere fifty feet south of the Villa’s beach entrance lays a pristine and virtually rock free ocean, perfect for swimming, boogie boarding, or surfing. The water temperature averages a very inviting temperature of 84 Fahrenheit or warmer. Adjacent to the beach where Villa Milagro is situated is a tranquil tide pool area and a five minute, walk leads to a private snorkeling beach. Take a plunge into the beautiful infinity pool to cool off from the heat or lay in the warm rays of the sun to work on your tan while watching flocks of pelicans delight the eye in wondrous movement and dance. However, if your inclination is for a more active experience, you can horseback ride, take an eco-tour, snorkel, do yoga on our recently built yoga deck, surf, swim, fish and then have a massage. Every aspect of Villa Milagro makes it ideal for a peaceful family vacation. The house is perched above a very private, quiet beach — the ocean breeze from the three open air bedrooms is magical and waking up to the breathtaking view is very special (there are also enclosed air conditioned rooms for those who prefer that). You truly don’t even need to leave the house - it has a gorgeous pool, hot tub, fully equipped yoga studio, massage rooms, and more. The team working at the villa is absolutely amazing, especially Berna, providing the best energy and impeccable service. The chef’s food was SOOO delicious! We had breakfast & lunch & dinner at the house every single day and each meal was better than the last. You will feel completely taken care of and at home in this house. Heather’s communication leading up to and throughout our trip was so helpful- we can’t say enough nice things about this place and would highly recommend.

This place is a real treat! Troncones is a gem. The house is immaculate, and the staff was exceptional. Everything is within walking distance, the town has wonderful restaurants and bars. We purchased the meal plan and the food was perfectly prepared, on time, each day. The pool is great, the beach is private and the ocean is swimmable. We have already booked for next year. Things to know: each room has its own bathroom, but three of the bedrooms are "open air", this is beautiful and comfortable, but it should be pointed out. The enclosed rooms are very private, comfortable, and come with air conditioning if you so desire. We were able to watch whales breech from the comfort of the pool chairs.

What makes Villa Milagro such a gem is its location. Sitting on a 180 degree cove, it offers privacy, yet one can find themselves in the center of town after a short 10-15 minute walk up the beach. There are several eateries ranging in price from Rufi's (hands down some of the best traditional Mexican food at great prices) to Roberto's Bistro (worth every dollar! If you're meat eater, the steak is the highlight of this menu here... not to mention the freshest seafood).
Troncones is about 3.4 miles from tip to tip so walking is the preferred mode of transportation, however, they do have a local cab company. If your desire is to traipse between Troncones and Ixtapa, perhaps a rental car/ van would suit your needs best. Just prearrange it as you may get a price gouge if you rent when you arrive!
