Our stay at Chris's place was amazing. The privacy and views are incredible. We took advantage of the kayaks and enjoyed the river. The space has everything you need and more. We were there with our two English Mastiffs and they enjoyed their walks in the woods and lounging on the deck. We hope to get back soon.

I loved being surrounded by nature, watching the bald eagle hunt for food, the otters playing in the water and on the bank, woodpecker in the morning, etc. It is truly a restorative setting. We did some hiking, went into Hot Springs for spa day at the Arlington, had some good Mexican food and margaritas at Taco Mama, but mostly enjoyed sitting on the deck.

My daughter and I really enjoyed our stay. If you are looking for a secluded, peaceful, private vacation, this place fits the bill. The house is very private with it's own long entry drive, and has a beautiful view of the river and surrounding landscape. We love to kayak and we took the owner provided kayak's out for an adventure on the river. The Ouachita National Forest is close by and we hiked a couple of miles on the Ouachita National Trail. Chris (the host) was very welcoming and communicated perfectly. We would stay here again for sure.
