The plumbing was noisy all the time in the bathroom.

Location is very peaceful and picturesque. The cottage is really warm, Joanne provided firewood for the wood heater which kept the cottage very cosy. We enjoyed our one night stay after exploring the area and having lunch at a local winery.

Joanne's place is in a lovely location, and has all the things you need for a comfortable stay. We enjoyed going 'offline' without WIFI or a smart TV and switching off from the world for a few days. The bed is very comfortable and the kitchen is simple but has the necessities, and the large fridge is handy. I would recommend bringing your own luxuries such as nice coffee, a coffee maker (it has a small plunger), extra towels for long stays and toiletries. Thank you for having us, I'm sure we will stay again!

Cute cottage in a beautiful position. Interior is quite outdated, and would benefit from an upgrade. Had a cosy stay though and Joanne was a lovely help. In saying all this, we booked very last minute, and was put into a different side of the house than photographed/booked so perhaps the other side would’ve better met our expectations.
