Liam and Melanie were awesome!! When I arrived, Liam invited me to join them for tea which was amazing because I could ask them about all things Tassie. They are both very kind, accommodating, and knowledgeable. Jake is great too! He’s a big, lovable goofball. The space is private, clean, and comfortable. I appreciated accessing my space from the back of the house, as it meant I didn’t have to disturb them as I came and went. The space is large, the bed comfortable, and the shower water hot. The coffee maker, kettle, and microwave were such nice touches that made getting the day started much easier. Melanie even made sure that I had milk on hand for my morning coffee! Taking the bus to and from the city center was very easy from their property. If you opt to walk, it’s only about a 20 minute walk to the city center. It’s a great location as it’s peaceful, yet close enough to the action. Overall, I highly recommend Jake’s place for a comfortable stay in Hobart!

Liam is a very friendly and responsive host who showed me wonderful hospitality. Liam’s home is in a quiet neighborhood away from the cruise ships. It was easy to find and matched the pictures. The bedroom was larger than anticipated, providing more than enough space for a solo traveler like myself or even a couple traveling together. It even included a nice sitting room with a few reading materials. The on-site dog is also very friendly and loves attention. Overall, I enjoyed my experience here and would recommend Liam’s place to anyone looking to stay in Hobart.

Liam's place was spotless and very comfy, perfect for my couple of nights, walkable into the CBD and very quiet. I would definitely stay there again 😊

Staying at Jake‘s Place was great! All our rooms (bedroom, lounge and bathroom) were very cosy, super clean and equipped with everything you need. Liam and Melanie were easy to reach, very welcoming and helpful. Overall a perfect stay for us to explore the city!
