We had an amazing time at Lyrebird Cottage over the King’s Birthday long weekend. The Cottage is beautifully appointed with everything you need. We were greeted by Tracey, who is very lovely, on arrival. She gave us lots of information on things to see and do. Once inside the Cottage we were so surprised to find a freshly baked loaf of bread, a bottle of red wine and some chocolates which was a beautiful touch. We spent every morning on the front deck at breakfast and watched the sunrise and the changing colours/weather patterns over the water. Overall we had a wonderful break in a gorgeous, private, cottage and we would highly recommend it! We’ll be back!!

Cottage exceeded our expectations - very new and clean, nicely furnished, great views and high quality mattress and bedding. Thoughtfully set out and has everything you need. Thermally efficient. Set in a lovely spot. Thank you for the home baked bread on arrival! We will definitely be back.

Oh how I miss staying at Lyrebird Cottage! Have been back into normal life for a few days now and would love to just pop right back into the serenity and calm that staying here brought me. Tracey was a perfect host - friendly and very helpful but not overbearing, great to chat with and knows the area really well. This property is perfect for anyone wanting to recharge with comfy deck chairs, a beautiful view and a well-appointed cottage. We were gifted with freshly homebaked bread on arrival - an extra special touch. Will definitely be returning.

Would absolutely stay again. Tracey's hospitality and hosting was absolutely flawless, the cottage was very comfy and in a awesomel location overlooking a valley and the bottom lake. Mallacoota & surrounds is beautiful and peaceful. 10/10 :)
