The people who worked there were nice. When I told them about the problems they said it would have been okay to call at 10pm. Other than the following few items it was a very nice place to stay. 1. TV internet disconnected, 2. No laundry detergent, 3 Jacuzzi had scum ring (note they cleaned it the next day) 4 chairs very uncomfortable at the dinner table. A pleasant surprise was that they had cookies for us in the kitchen. Which was very nice.

We booked the "Pool Spa Oasis" property specifically to use the hot tub and relax after hiking around Tongariro, as the spa was advertised as the main attraction. However, upon arrival, we were disappointed to find the hot tub was dirty, smelly, and had a murky red substance that looked like iron or blood around the rim, making it dangerous to use due to the potential for disease. As the hot tub is their main selling point, it was especially disappointing that it was not cleaned properly. I know for a fact the property was empty the day before so they had time to do something about it. Definitely needed to be drained and scrubbed with bleach. Additionally, we found the master bed to be broken with a large crater on the right side of the mattress. It was comical how bad it was. We didn't sleep well. We reached out to Bachcare about the hot tub and their cleaners letting them down, but did not receive a response or acknowledgement of the problem.

Very nice place. Good location. Could be better managed. We had problems checking in and it took a long time to reach a representative. We wrote a note afterwards and received an apology with a 5% refund.
