Too bad he won’t resolve the issue. The shower drain is clogged and bad smell is emitted. I am told to use the other bathroom. One bathroom for 6 people ? I paid for 2 bathrooMs Stayed there 4 nites. Never fixed it… Coackroaches in the unit. Yeah, ok, they came in while cleaning. Ok Where is the dryer advertised in the listing ? Ah! Oops, its a mistake. There is none… Well aside from this, the house looks just as nice as advertised Too bad, had he fixed the issue or compensate me properly, the review would have been at least 4 stars For what it’s worth, a tour guide explained to us the laid back nature of people in the Azores. If it isn’t important to them, it can wait and will wait Well dully noted! Your guest confort and respecting your guest is to this host: not important! Noted 10-4 Or if I am being generous, maybe they just don’t understand English and like to pretend they do…. Something else that I notice throughout this otherwise beautiful and magical country

The house is beautiful with a great front patio and upper deck with a view. Our 20 month old granddaughter loved crawling up and down the spiral staircase. We used the spot as a central location to explore all of Sao Miguel. The house is located within easy walking distance to the village center and also to a great super market. The walk to the beach and the pier are a bit further but very doable. We found that the beds varied in firmness so be sure to try a different one if the first one you try doesn’t work for you. We also enjoyed hanging our laundry on the line to dry and found that it would dry overnight as long as it wasn’t raining and then there’s one to use that is under a cover. We really enjoyed our stay and the recommendations made by the host. We would stay there again if we returned to Sao Miguel and needed a place big enough for the whole family.

This immaculate home is so beautiful inside and out, and it’s in the perfect location to see the island, or enjoy a day in. There were four of us (two couples), so I was looking for a place with 2 full bathrooms. This home far exceeded our needs with so much space, and the price was extremely reasonable. Squeaky clean! Wifi was good, but worked better in some rooms than others. We never had a problem finding a place on the street to park our two rental cars. Nice to have a washing machine, and we dried our clothes in the outdoor covered clothes-line area. There’s an outdoor shower to wash of the sand from the beach. The ocean is walking distance, and the islet can be seen from the roof, and the street. The yard is also lovely and well kept. Check in/Check out was simple. The garage has another apartment connected to it, but it was completely separated from the home, and we never even saw the residents occupying it. We all LOVED this home, and would stay again. Highly recommend!
