The apartment is just next to a big supermarket and a few minutes from the beach, both are very nice. The apartment feels quite empty and I think that with just a bit of extra touch it could fulfill its potential and be great. Some of the furniture and amenities are worn out. The eating table and chairs are old and squeeky (especially the chairs that may break down soon), balcony door handle is broken and hard to open, the kitchen could use some basics: cutting board, functioning toaster (there are 2 but both are old and broken), electric kettle and more to make you feel at home. John is very responsive but a bit hard to understand most of the time. A big problem is mosquitoes. I've been in several places in greece and nowhere I have seen as much mosquitoes as in the apartment. Equip yourself with some protection and you'll be fine. Thank you John for the hospitality!

I'd love if there were basic products in the apartment. For example water, paper, cleaning equipment in case an accident happened, shampoo etc..

My wife and I and our two little boys spent 3 months in this appartment (our first time in Greece). It is in a peaceful location short distance from the beautiful Akrata beach and with a grocery store just a few meters away. The appartment is very spacious which was great for us and our boys. At the same time it is fairly basic with fairly dated furniture and most of the equipment and I would say the appartment needs an overall update. Having said that, everything functions well and, in short, we had everything we needed for our stay and the price was very friendly (our #1 preference). There were some issues in the beginning when we arrived but after we contacted our host John, he promptly did his best to resolve them so that was great. Overall, John was very responsive, helpful and he also frequently checked with us during our stay whether we needed anything. Overall we enjoyed our stay and miss Akrata already. Thank you John for hosting us and making our stay comfortable.

Great Location close to the beach. Big super market right next to it. Spacious apt on the 3rd. Elevator out of order. Humidity on the walls. Location full of mosquitos with no mosquito mesh at the windows/doors. Toilet leaking with noticeable smell. Very narrow space in the shower. Kitchen cabinets with mold. Very old and dirty fridge. Stove and oven old and greasy. Kitchen faucet needs fixing. The apt hasn't been cleaned for months especially the bathroom and under the beds. No amenities other than hand soap.
