This is our second stay at Yvonne’s place in Nokomis. We love how cozy and peaceful this home feels - we feel like it’s our little getaway from it all. I enjoy sitting out back with my morning coffee and we love walking the trail right across the street. VERY convenient location in Nokomis to Tamiami trail which gets you to anywhere you need to go. Close to the best beach - We will certainly be back again :)

We had a fantastic stay at Yvonne's place. You can see the love she put into the place in the attention to detail. The design and decor is fresh, beachy, and cozy. The recliners and bed are comfortable. Our dog loved exploring the small fenced yard with the different plantings. It was easy for our dog sitter to come daily with our key code access. The fan in the backyard helped keep mosquitoes at bay. We especially liked the remotes for the air conditioners and outlets with easy access to charge our phones. Yvonne also provided good kitchen ware, matching silverware, and drinking water. The community center with kayak launch is right across the street and was a nice place to walk our dog. Cafe Evergreen is a short walk away with super healthy juices, smoothies and vegetarian options. FIVE STAR STAY! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

My wife and I stayed at Yvonne's place for 3 nights in Apr 2024. She gave us clear instructions in advance and even provided several great recommendations for local restaurants where we could bring our small dog. House is located on a quite street. Two great restaurants within two blocks and a nice park with community garden, kayak launch and direct access to the Legacy Trail (good for run or bike) is directly across the street. Nakomis beach, Venice beach and downtown Venice are all a 5 minute drive. House was comfortable and perfect for two adults. Nicely equipped small kitchen. Nice small bathroom with standalone shower (no bathtub). Bed was comfortable. TVs were great. Cute backyard. We would definitely stay there again.
