Lovely inn above a pub in a great location that is accessible to the peninsulas and to the Kenmare/Killarney area. Tony was delightful and a great communicator. He offered helpful recommendations and left fruit & snacks in the kitchen for us. Thank you!

The Sheepshead Inn was perfect for what I needed. I was visiting with my bestie and her in-laws and it was in perfect walking distance of their home. However, everything is within walking distance in Durrus! Since I was visiting off season, Tony switched my room to the back of the house which made a difference in the noise factor, not that Durrus has a rush hour. However, I had the whole inn to myself. The most noisy thing I experienced was the tree trimming at 8:00 a.m. on one Saturday morning and the midnight car door slamming contest at the Long Boat Bar by after hour partiers one Friday night. Tony kept me appraised of his schedule and was very easy to talk with. He has a little kitchen area set-up where you can make you some tea or coffee and there is a microwave and fridge. The bed linens and mattress was super comfy. There isn't a TV , phone or clock in the room. However, I rather enjoyed that.

An older building, but comfortable due to its cleanliness and Tony's record response time whenever I had a question. A small grocery store right across the street. I appreciate that even though I was the only person staying at the very end of the season, everything was well prepared and I had the refreshment corner all for myself. Thank you.

We very much our stay. Tony was a fantastic host very friendly and helpful. The room was exactly as described, clean and very comfortable. I would definitely stay here again. Thank you Tony.

Tony was a great host who made us feel so welcome. We loved staying in the Sheep’s Head Inn and dining next door in the pub. Everyone was so friendly. The breakfast was great.
