Such a great spot to stay near Kilcrohane village! When the rain comes in its extremely cosy, and nice to hunker down in front of the fire. when the sun is out there's plenty to do in the local area (if you like walking, fishing and being off the grid)! We come back to this village every year and will keep doing so as we love it so much! Thanks Rose for having such a beautiful house in such a great spot!

Rose was a great host! House was in a great location on sheeps head! Great swimming spots near by! House was good 2 double rooms 2 single rooms, beautiful view from living room. Not a very good wifi signal but to be expected at the edge of an island! Would stay here again! Thanks Rose and family!

The cottage is very well maintained, all areas are clean and there are well written instructions about how to use the property. It offers magnificent views of the sea and lays within close proximity to a few local beaches. Rose is a pleasure to deal with. The only reason why I am not giving it all 5* is because when we booked it, we trusted that the property is located between Bantry and Durrus, however it is located 25 km (30 min drive) from where it is shown on the Airbnb map, towards the end of the Sheep head peninsula. We booked it because we were looking to stay exactly near Bantry and planned accordingly. We ended up spending an extra 1 hour of driving every day, from what we had initially planned. If you are looking to stay closer to the end of the peninsula, this is a good place.
