Gavin and Kirsten were wonderful and welcoming hosts. I could not have felt more cared for and at home. They went out of their way to collect me at the train station and helped sort out a problem I had with collecting my animals at the last moment. Beautiful space, well presented, good local restaurants (and hosts provided a guide to the area and it’s amenities as well as recommendations) could not recommend more.

What a beautiful place. We know from experience how difficult it is to renovate a character property. Kirsten & Gavin have kept the character and charm of the forge as well as creating a really comfortable, clean and charming place to stay. All the extras touches were appreciated too including the breakfast options and fresh milk. We’d definitely stay again when we’re next in the area.

From start to finish this was a wonderful experience. Gavin and Kirsten were wonderful hosts and responded to all questions in a timely and very friendly manner, and have lots of suggestions and info on things to do in the area. The house was perfect for two and felt like home with all the small touches. The delicious bacon and egg brekky they left for us was very much appreciated and was a really sweet gesture. We very much recommend this to anyone and would love to stay here again if we ever make it back to the UK! Thank you!

We came up to farningham to visit family after moving out of the area. It was like a holiday at home! The living space was comfortable and we were greeted with nibbles and condiments, which is always a great start to a lil getaway! Super grateful to have walked into this as we had experienced such a long journey. The property is right in the heart of the village, Being just minutes from a pub either way! Both Gavin and Kirsten were super responsive and helpful in letting us get to know the area further. The property itself was really quirky, homely and would be a great getaway for couples. Thank you guys❤️

We stayed here for two nights whilst attending a wedding. Hosts were fantastic. Super helpful, made things incredibly easy and we’re always there to help! The place is BEAUTIFUL. Actually wish I had one in my garden! Could not have asked for more. Would 1000% recommend.
