Great cute place in a nice neighboorhood. I was looking for a short extension of my (work) stay in Toronto and saw Frank's place which stood up price-wise from all other hotels and bnbs in Toronto. I booked with no hesitation. Frank is very easy to communicate with and flexible with check-in/check-out which is much appreciated. Due to my slow mind, i had some issues trying to key at the door and he was right there to assist (even though wasn't needed in the end). The place is semi-basement, so not much light but I did not mind. It's pretty clean and comfortable for 1 (maybe 2) persons. Kitchen is fully equipped, wifi is pretty fast as well. Noise from the street might be an issue or from the apartment up (contact noise) but overall I think I slept okay. Its very close to Kensington market and a 15-20 min tram ride to center. Overall, recommended as to avoid the overly expensive Toronto hotels.

Frank is a great host. He was very helpful with instructions and very prompt to respond to messages. His place is walk-in distance to Kennington Market with all greats restaurants and bars. Only downside is it is across the hospital so it can get noisy at night with ambulance siren. It is fairly an older neighborhood so not super fancy but I felt ok walking around as a solo traveler woman at night. If you plan to travel in summer time, there is no AC in the unit but there is a portable ventilation unit so the indoor temperature was not so bad but not ice cold just be aware.
