Rustic farm house in the most magical country side within 5 minutes of lakes entrance, walking distance to the lake for a spot of fishing. The gardens including pool area were fabulously picturesque. The chickens were a hit with our son, and we loved eating fresh eggs daily. The deck was a hit with our dog who loved to sun bake! The house was a little cold without the fire constantly stoked. The house could do with new blinds (perhaps thick curtains to keep the house warm) and new/fresh linen/bedding.

I’ll give it a 4 for the overall experience, lovely property, spacious, awesome kitchen and overall a nice getaway spot. Some improvements, for instance to making the beds more comfy and hot water system would go a long way, particularly for the price of staying here. Thank you Hannah for being a wonderful host.

We stayed at this 'Relaxing Country Getaway with Pool' for a week over the easter school holiday period. We had two families and there was ample space for everyone. We all loved the house, garden, pool, wood fire, cubby house in the tree and broader paddock area, especially the chickens and the two calves. Our kids spent hours roaming around outside and loved the indoor/outdoor accessibility and feel. We really didn't need to leave the property but when we did, the beach and lake access were a short drive away (too far to walk) and it was about a 10 min drive into the center of Lakes Entrance. The house is in need of some general maintenance though and it is quite cold due to the size and style of house, but this shouldn't deter you from booking here as we would definitely stay again. A great rural type experience for those needing a break away from city areas and just some time and space to breathe.

Hannah’s house had beautiful grounds, pool was a hit with the kids and the chicken’s provided valuable entertainment and excitement trying to guess how many eggs we would find each morning. The house itself was spacious and clean. The only down side was the beds in the kids bedrooms, mattresses were uncomfortable to sleep on, this was unexpected given the price of the house. Everything else was great.

This is such a beautiful property. We loved the home and it’s country surrounds. The backyard was perfect for our kids to play in. The pool was fabulous to enjoy on a warm day. Thank you Hannah for sharing your beautiful home with us. We look forward to coming back to enjoy this property again.
