Wonderful being in the land of Beatrix Potter, the views over the Esthwaite water and to see the snow the the fells, gorgeous 😍 Quiet and tranquil. The view ever changing. Great to walk to The Tower Bank Arms,! Our accommodation, Windermere, was good, really warm, with comfortable beds plus lovely bed linen. The kitchen was equipped with everything and more. The area is perfect. A grocery and log delivery from Graythwaite Farm shop was so helpful, thank you. My husband and son really enjoyed Clay pigeon shooting with Simon on the Estate, a diligent professional. We made memories, thank you.

Very peaceful stay at Graythwaite. The cottage had the amenities that we were after, the estate gave us clear instructions to ensure that we could access the cottage, and the location gave us a great base to explore the Lakes.

Stayed at Graythwaite for a biking holiday with my sister and dad. We stayed in a two bedroom apartment that had it's own outdoor terrace which faced west for the evening sun, with great views. We also had a small parking area near the property that we used to clean the bikes at the end of each day. The hosts were very flexible, allowing us to leave our vehicle parked before check in and after check out so that we could enjoy long rides on either side of our stay. The flat was really comfortable with nice beds and couch. We took logs for the wood burner but the weather was so nice we didn't need it. Beautiful surroundings and a few minutes walk to the lake. Would definitely stay again.
