Great little place. Perfect location for us to stay with our 9 and 7 year old. It’s just round the corner from Beatrix Potters Hill Top House and we drove about 15-20 mins to Skelwith bridge for a circular walk from skelwith- elterwater- little Langdale including cathedral cave. Great walk for little legs! Place was clean and tidy and had great views. We were able to easily cook for a family of four with the well equipped kitchen. Also a short walk to the lake where there was a cafe and boat hire. The people running the boat house cafe were lovely and had a live camera on an Osprey nest which was cool. The communication from Graythwaite was fantastic. Continuous updates from them prior to the trip with useful information and even the option to pre order supplies from the shop like milk butter bacon etc. we had a great time and would go back.

Great stay,very comfortable beds and lovely location. Only slight downside was lack of shower pressure and was very hard to get the right temperature. WiFi was also a bit hit and miss at peak times when others were streaming thing. Would return again though as a lovely spot

We really enjoyed our stay at Graythwaite's, it was cosy, comfortable and clean. A perfect base to explore the lakes from in a stunning setting.

Great location for exploring the lakes. Had a great stay at the apartment. Had an issue with the TV that was quickly resolved after a short phone call. Walking distance to the lake and a short drive to the ferry port for crossing Windermere (£6 for a car to cross). Would definitely stay again.
