Hello! This is Toru and Mitzi. We live in a place surrounded by great nature in Denali State Park, about three hours by car from Anchorage. Feeling the warmth of the tree There are two rooms for guests in the log house made with DIY, and in a nice day, it is a good view from the house overlooking the majestic Denali Mountain. In the middle of nature, energy is basically solar power generation, wind power generation, the clear river water in the vicinity for the dish, the rain water is used for the sewage, we try to live such that the environment is not burdened as much as possible. Although there may be some inconvenience at the beginning, there are plenty of opportunities to feel like living in the city, feeling the importance of electricity and water, thinking about the idea to live comfortably using some things, I feel that I can spend the whole day carefully by experiencing the sense of unity with nature that they are living in the residential areas of wild animals. Healthy eating and moderate exercise are indispensable because it is a tough climate of 30 degrees in the midsummer and minus 30 degrees in the midwinter. Let's enjoy morning exercise and walking together if you like. In cold nights, you can sleep after warming your body with the Yoneemon bath made in the garden. For organic dishes, we use organic ingredients, we think about various western-style menus considering health balance such as cooking using Alaska salmon, cooking using Japanese ingredients. We have been in California for 6 years and in Alaska for 11 years, we can speak Japanese as well as English. I am looking forward to talking with everyone while having tea, while having a meal. If you like nature, I'm sure you will enjoy staying here, so please do come and take a look. DCNC (Denali Chino Nature Center) I will continue to expand the circle of people based on the wildlife of Alaska, contribute to people / society, build peace of the world. こんにちは!トオルとミッチーです。私たちはアンカレッジから車で約3時間の、デナリ州立公園内の大自然に囲まれた場所に住んでいます。木の温かみを感じるDIYで作ったログハウスの中にお客様用のお部屋が二つあり、天気が良い日には家から雄大なデナリ山を一望できる、見晴らしの良いロケーションです。大自然の真ん中で、エネルギーは基本的に太陽光発電、風力発電、お料理には近隣の澄んだ川の水、下水は雨水を使い、なるべく環境に負荷がかからないような生活を心がけています。最初は不便に感じるところもあるかもしれませんが、普段街に住んでいると感じる機会の少ない、電気や水の大切さを感じたり、あるものを使って心地よく暮らすためのアイデアを考えたり、野生動物たちの住処に住まわせてもらっているという自然との一体感をじっくりと体感したりと、1日を大切に過ごすことができると思います。 真夏は30度、真冬はマイナス30度と厳しい気候ですので、健康的な食事や適度な運動は欠かせません。もし良かったら、一緒に朝の体操とウォーキングを楽しみましょう。寒い夜は、庭に作った五右衛門風呂で身体を温めてから眠ることができます。お料理にはオーガニック食材を使用し、アラスカのサーモンを使った料理や、日本の食材を使った料理等、健康バランスを考えて和洋様々なメニューを考えております。 私たちはカリフォルニアで6年間、アラスカで11年間過ごしており、日本語はもちろん、英語も話せます。お茶をしながら、食事をしながら、みなさまとお話しすることが何より楽しみです。自然が好きな方であれば、きっとここでのステイを楽しんでもらえると思いますので、ぜひ足を運んでくださいね。 夕食は基本的にありませんが、ご要望があれば、又、その時の状況が許せば、夕食をお出しします。 DCNC(Denali Chino Nature Center: web: (URL HIDDEN) は、これからも アラスカの大自然をベースに 人々の輪を広げ、 人々/社会に貢献し、世界の平和を構築してゆきます。
