My family had the most amazing time here! The house is absolutely beautiful and has a lot of space! The house was so clean and so organized- the fully stocked kitchen was such a help. They had everything from seasonings to cooking oil and every pot and pan you’ll ever need. The farm fresh eggs were also so delicious, we enjoyed them so much. The downstairs area was really fun too- my brother and dad played pool everyday for hours when the weather was too chilly and they have a tv down there as well. The grounds are also stunning- we visited with the ducks, chickens, and turkey- then walked around to the river and pond. We had the most relaxing time and would recommend this place to anyone looking to get away. These hosts are so thoughtful, we felt so taken care of. We are hoping to visit again soon!

An absolute gem. We were looking for a family weekend retreat, and this place exceeded our expectations. The accommodations were wonderful, and the grounds were peaceful and well kept. While we were coming to the area to do some hiking at Starved Rock State Park, there was also plenty to do on the property--hiking, fishing, sitting by the river, throwing a football around, pool, board games. We absolutely loved our time there and would highly recommend for a family looking for a quiet escape. Extremely comfortable and many nice touches.

This place is absolutely BEAUTIFUL!!! The property is so peaceful. The house is gorgeous and clean. There was fresh farm eggs in the fridge upon check in with coffee as well. Larry was also extremely easy to get ahold of when necessary. Cannot recommend this property and host enough.
