We had an amazing stay at orchard hideaways! The pod was perfect for what we wanted for this trip. We were impressed with the amenities in the pod; microwave, kettle, fridge, cutlery etc. It felt really cosy once we’d had our bedding on and made it our own little space. It was also perfect for our two little dogs and they felt at home in the pod. The showers and toilet blocks exceeded our expectations. They were really clean and had everything you needed. The location was central to drive/get the bus to places like pooley bridge and Keswick. It was handy being in Penrith too due to all the big supermarkets and shops there. The host Andrew was lovely. He greeted us after we had checked in and made sure we were okay. He gave us loads of good local recommendations. He was also easy to reach during the trip and when we needed help due to our clumsiness (like when we accidentally locked ourselves out the pod 😂). Would highly recommend staying here! And would definitely return again.

We had a fantastic stay at Orchard Hideaways. Andy went above and beyond and was very helpful. Top host. We had the site to ourselves and it was all very easy to navigate and understand. It's a great little place to stay and everything is well thought about. Excellent value for money. We would definitely recommend and will definitely be returning. Thanks again!

It was the most horrible experience ever. First if all no message was given to check in and had to wait there for half an hour as he never picked up the phone or reply to any of our messages on airbnb. Finally a guest came out and luckily he had a different number which he only provides once you check in. Once i called him he said we were shifted to a different room which was super small and couldn’t even move in there. On top of that it was super dirty and stains on the mattress. There was garbage left in the room from previous guests. There was no information about bedding not being provided. This was only brought to our attention once you had checked in. You realise you don’t have any kind of bedding to sleep with. The mattress had springs poking on my back and my lower back was super sore because of that. To add to my misery it was near the highway and super noisy in the night. If you have to go to the washroom, walk another 500 yds from your room. PLEASE AVOID STAYING!

Great location on the doorstep of the Lake District, lovely accommodation which was very clean with very good facilities on site. Great communication before and after our stay. Thank you.
