A stunning couple of days staying in Hillary’s beautiful Airbnb. Great location to access the lakes with a fab pub only 12 minutes walk away. We loved staying here

Lovely cosy stay! Perfect for a few nights stay in the lakes. Great location to access the majority of the lakes via the A66 but in a peaceful rural setting. Everything we needed was provided and although we didn’t use the kitchen - had everything you would need, really well stocked utensils and cooking things. The whole place was super clean and comfortable and will definitely be recommending to friends and family ☺️

We had a lovely stay at the lodge, beautifully decorated, clean and cosy. Near lots of places to explore including Keswick. We hope to be back soon!

We stayed here for 3 nights and are so glad we chose Hilary and Nigel’s place. It’s really private and beautiful and the accommodation is well designed and appointed. Communication was excellent and drama-free. The house manual is probably the best we’ve seen in all our AirBnB stays. It has everything from instructions for using all the appliances through to excellent recommendations in the area and beyond. Every property should see this benchmark folder! Before meeting our hosts properly, we actually walked past them (neither knowing who the other was until the next day) on our way back from the local pub with a mild skinful. 😁 Hilary and Nigel are great, professional and pleasant hosts. Thank you for providing such a great place to unwind. The finishing touches are great. 👍 Motherby has a peaceful village feel in an excellent location with easy access to the Lakes and other nearby attractions. We will certainly be back.

Lovely long weekend at The Lodge. It’s a very peaceful, private place. Fully equipped, has everything you need. Lovely spot for bird watching, quite a lot of birds came to visit. Location is perfect for hiking and getting around, not far from towns. We got engaged on the Friday during our hike so this was a weekend to remember for us.
