The place was spotless….the view spectacular…..the bed comfy….BUT….no kitchen sink or useable counter space. No table. Had to do dishes in a tub in the bathroom. Barely any utensils…no can opener, no sharp knife, no dinner plates. But the biggest hurdle was that the only cafe was closed which should have been communicated to us and the little convenience store had nothing useable. Result was that after driving 10 hours we had to drive a further 58 kms (return) to get dinner (and breakfast supplies) in St. Anthony. Also the room walls were paper thin.

A super comfortable, quiet, clean and newly renovated collection of suites directly across from the bay. Raleigh is a small village with few amenities, located about a half hour from all the local tourist spots. Near by towns have a good selection of places to eat and shops to get groceries and things you might need. A terrific place to stay while visiting this part of Newfoundland.

A very cozy spot with beautiful surroundings! awesome location if you are planning on spending time in L'anse auxs Meadows and St.Anthony.

We had only one night at our room in Raleigh but it was a comfortable stay. The room is beautiful with a colourful Newfoundland quilt on the bed. The room included a small kitchenette that allowed us to have tea and coffee in the morning. We stayed here after our visit to L'Anse aux Meadows and the location overlooking the water was great. The only restaurant in town was closed as they are without a chef so we took the advice of the kind lady who checked us in and drove 20 minutes to The Daily Catch where we had a great meal.

Absolutely beautiful place and room. Wished we could have stayed more than one night! Looked like a room for honeymooners! Thank you so much!
