This small oceanfront cabin sits in a quiet, peaceful cove within walking distance of L’Anse aux Meadows, where the Vikings settled 1000 years ago. Wake up to the sound of the ocean waves lapping against the shore. Every season here is magical. You might even catch an iceberg or whales right from the window, while curled up by the wood stove. Hike up to the top of the headlands and experience the peaceful energy of this wild and rugged place. You just might wish you planned a longer stay.

Not sure when we will be back to this corner of the world, but when we do, we will definitely stay here again, and longer. Magical!!!
The cabin is lovely - well-equipped, clean and very comfortable, perfect for disconnecting from it all. The view is really incredible; it's great to sit watching the waves with a cosy fire going. Katherine provided wood for the fire, fresh drinking water and lots of information about things to do. The location is perfect for a visit to L'Anse aux Meadows, and St Anthony is only 25-odd minutes away if you need to buy groceries. Communication was very easy, and there were clear instructions about arrival/check-in. A wonderful place!
Absolutely loved it - we stayed in 5 different Airbnbs this trip, and this one was our favorite! Cannot beat these views!
It was a wonderful stay, the view was awesome and the cottage was clean, beautiful and cozy.

A quiet, peaceful Cove right next to L’Anse aux meadows. The Viking Heritage site is an easy walk down the road, and there are tons of stunning hiking paths through the headlands that you can get to right from the cabin, as well as plenty of restaurants and live music within driving distance. Your basic groceries are available within a 15 minute drive and a larger grocery store is in St-Anthony (about 25 minutes away)
You will need a car and would likely use it most days as you explore the area but you might also enjoy staying put and exploring things that are within walking distance and socializing with the warm hearted locals from the community. You will have your own parking space close to the cabin.
