I accidentally booked for the wrong dates and only realised the day we were driving down 🤦‍♀️ luckily there wasn’t a booking that night and Anne immediately swapped my reservation, zero hassle! So glad we were able to swap, it’s a fab spot! The bridge and walks around the property really added to the experience ❤️ we’ll definitely be back!

Absolutely incredible stay, I was a bit wary due to the price but I am so glad we went. I wish I'd realised how much cheaper it was to book direct as I think that price is more in keeping with the max it feels it should be. However, beautiful scenery and location, so private and peaceful, the owners have clearly put a lot of thought and detail into making the experience an incredible retreat. The walks and pathways they'd created around the farm felt almost magical. The sauna is a great touch, I wasn't brave enough to do the full plunge pool but my partner loved it! Thoroughly recommend, we will be looking to book again I'm sure.

We had a beautiful stay at Fernwood. 10/10, we stayed in the dome which was spectacular. Very well throughout interior plus a fire to add some extra heat. There is a lot of work gone into the property and the guest experience. I enjoyed a sauna (which had a view of salt lake) and plunge pool after we arrived. If your looking to disconnect this is the place to do only about 60 minutes from Galway. Can’t wait to return. Thanks Anne and Simon.

A beautiful experience in a beautiful setting... pure magic! Settled in the heart of nature - surrounded by trees and right by a lake. Received a warm, homely welcome to a cosy retreat. The dome itself is also right next to the sauna and plunge pool. Stayed only one night but will be back for a longer visit someday :)
