Betsy was such a a kind and gracious host! She met me upon arrival to show me around. Her home and property are beautiful with so much character! I throughly enjoyed my stay!
Everything was as described. Betsy was there to welcome me and show the house even with my delayed arrival. The bedroom had everything to be confortable, AC and a fan. The property is absolutely wonderful and quiet. You wake up in the morning with the sound of nature and of the birds. Very nice experience!
Betsy is a great host. She treated us more like a family member. I would really recommend this place if you are into country side lifestyle.
Betsy has a wonderful farmhouse with roots going back to her grandfather. This property is a piece of paradise overlooking the water, but out in glorious cornfields. For anyone interested in history, you are literally minutes from Harriet Tubman's birthplace and other significant Civil War landmarks. Betsy is a wonderful woman who is very warm and accommodating.

自我介绍
This has been the family farm for a century. I grew up here. Spent many happy years crabbing from that dock, so I’m happy to teach. Majored in English at Western Maryland College, with ROTC. Commissioned a second lieutenant and became a paratrooper and UH-1H pilot. Stationed in West Germany during the Cold War, flying commanding general’s staff, 1st Armored Division. Raised 3 sons in Fairfax, VA; a stay-at-home mom and a community and church volunteer. Moved back home in 2002 and built the house next to the family home and cared for my mother. Have worked locally for the Dorchester Chamber of Commerce and the Grand National Wildlife Association. Served on the Boys & Girls Club Steering Committee. Currently on the board of the Nanticoke Historic Preservation Alliance, restoring “Handsell,” a National Historic Register house, while creating a living history center of the local historical cultures: European, Native American and African. I am an avid gardener and genealogist and dedicated grandmother to three grandchildren, who live next door.
