Located only 10 mins from River John, 20 minutes from the town of Pictou and 20 mins from Tatamagouche . Come relax and refresh on the ocean and experience breathtaking sunrises and sunsets. Our cottage overlooks a quiet cove on the Northumberland Strait). Guest will enjoy direct access to the beach - which has amazing tides! Swimming is good and at low tide you can walk/hike for many km's along the shoreline, going from one cove to the next. This cottage sits on a small cliff, overlooking the ocean. There is no fence at the cliff edge. - The cottage has recently been painted and updated on the inside. - The master bedroom has a double bed and dresser and small closet. - The 2nd bedroom is set up with bunk beds. There is a small closet and armoire. - The bathroom has just been renovated (2022) and has a new shower stall, toilet and sink/vanity. - The kitchen is well stocked with dishes and cutlery, glassware, mugs, serving dishes and bbq tools. There is a toaster, drip coffee maker, kettle, tea pot, pots, pans, chopping board, knives, corkscrew, bottle opener and, of course, a refrigerator & stove. - The dining area has a generous sized table, overlooking the ocean. - The living area also overlooks the ocean and is comfortably appointed with a sectional sofa and TV. - There is a double futon in the living room that can be used as an additional bed. Bedding will be left in the armoire in the bunkbed bedroom. - The deck area, overlooking the ocean, has a patio table/chairs and BBQ. Below the deck, there is a fire pit and chairs for your use. (wood will be provided) The cottage will come with: - 6 sets of cotton towels for the bath - 6 huge cotton beach towels - Beds made up with with high quality linens/quilts - 4 pillows on the double bed, 2 pillows on each of the bunks - Paper towels, toilet paper, dinner napkins, garbage bags, recycling bags - Large bottles of water - Coffee, tea, sugar, condiments, salt, pepper - Placemats and table clothes suitable for indoor or outdoor use - Tea towels, dish clothes Close by (by car): - Jost Winery - Seafoam Lavender - The historic town of Pictou - Lismore Sheep Farm and Wool Shop - Ferry dock to PEI
