Very cosy place, really liked the Victorian room and the soothing sound of flowing water under the window. Gaele was a very friendly and appreciative host, did her best to make everyone feel well cared for.

What a wonderful stay! Gaele was waiting to greet us after a huge diversion on our trip to get there thanks to a log across a road. She made us feel so welcome after a log and exhausting drive. The room was exactly like the photos and so fitting to the house. The bathroom that we shared with 1 other room was just as cute. We loved the communal breakfast on the most extravagant layed out table, we felt like we'd gone back in time (and also nice to meet and chat with the other 4 interesting guests). Location was so central too, and easy parking. Gaele and her partner were so hospitable and welcoming, we felt like part of the family. I highly recommend this place for a stay in Walhalla! Ps. Another review mentioned a smell, i wondered if the room might smell a bit musty as many old homes do. I have a sensitive nose and can comfirm definitely no smell, infact the place seemed recently renovated and fresh, yet still maintaining its old charm
