We enjoyed our couples retreat here very much. The place was definitely secluded. Lower temperature in the nighttime allowed us to sleep without AC. The bed is super comfortable, jacuzzi is clean and relaxing. We bought3 meals worth of grocery for 2 people and just stayed in the whole time to relax in the peaceful environment. When the sky is clear at night, it is FULL of shining stars. The only minor issue was that we wished the roadway leading to the yurt was better. We expected it to be a dirt road but did not expect it to be that rocky even in a SUV. Other than that, Denise was a great host, the environment was super relaxing.

From the moment we booked with Denise,she was nothing short of amazing. Responsive host and very easy to reach if we had any questions. It was my wife and I 1 year anniversary and we did nothing but relax and enjoy the peace and awesome things Denise had to offer us. This place was everything as advertised. We enjoyed it so much we intend to use this as a place to unwind and decompress in the future. Thank you Denise for making our experience memorable.
absolutely beautiful. The outdoor shower was my absolute favorite, I spent wayyyy to much time out there 😂. The view is breathtaking and literally changes every day with the flow of the water.
We enjoyed our stay however the cold temperatures made it hard for window unit to hold heat in the tent. The hottub had slime in it and the water stinks. A huge disappointment was there was no water for fishing as advertised because the water is too low. The tent isn't as secluded as pics made it seem, we heard the people in tent next to us talking and their dog barked all night long. The massage was good thank God she had a heating pad for her massage table because we froze all weekend. Denise communicated instructions well and was responsive to texts. The bed was comfortable and we loved the bathroom even though it was cold weather and open to the outside we loved the shower the best. overall we would do it again if the water was up and it was warmer.

Our first love and passion is definitely travel, adventure, and meeting new people! Other fun tidbits...we are foodies, extremely active in wake sufing, snow skiing, dancing, and working out. Love love beaches and scuba diving/zip lining. Denise and Scott had a vision to create Hill Country Glamping experiences with beautiful Lake Travis water views surrounded by nature. Safari for the Soul is THE go-to place where couples and friends can Reconnect, Reset, and Relax. Scott built all of these amazing yurt-like tent structures and together they strive to provide the ultimate private, comfortable, relaxing and memorable stay at their ranch properties in Marble Falls and Spicewood. During your stay many memorable soulful moments to discover…. should you enjoy the outdoor shower and private hot tub, an afternoon sunset kayak adventure, and then snuggle up in front a Texas campfire ….or perhaps lounge on the front deck with dinner and wine under the stars. Whatever you choose to do….just make sure you are not the one wishing you had booked this experience for the both of you!
