House and location were lovely for a group vacation. Great views and access to the water. Plenty of space inside and out for entertaining.

Lovely, immaculate lake house for a peaceful family spring break getaway. We really enjoy spots like this where the lodging IS the vacation, not merely a place to stay. We found the section of lake here in Marble Falls much larger and quieter than comparable rentals we have tried, e.g., on Lake Austin. Our favorite things to do were kayaking, cooking at home, and watching movies after dinner. For those seeking more action, there are nearby activities like Longhorn Cavern State Park and motor boat rentals, and about an hour drive to the center of Austin. The host, Richard, was very responsive and accommodating. We are just a family of 3 and spent most of our time downstairs. We had lots of extra room, with two more bedrooms/bathrooms upstairs. Every room in the house has impressive views. Garage parking really came in handy, too.
