Mary and Gary have done an amazing job renovating the converted barn we stayed in. It’s as described, peaceful and a short 15 min walk right into the heart of Abergavenny. No TV (as described) which was a welcome change - plus, so much to do on the doorstep we barely stopped anyway. Beautiful walks, vineyards, cafes and restaurants all really near by. Mary was flexible with check in and check out and more than happy to give recommendations which was really helpful! They were both very friendly and greeted us and said goodbye but also left us to ourselves, so a really nice experience staying there too! Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again!

A very gorgeous place. The flat itself is modern, tidy and cosy. The surroundings and the garden even more fabulous. The place is located beautifully just at the outskirts of Abergavenny with great views and easy access to the hiking trails as well as 15min walk to the town center. Mary is amazing host, very friendly and lovely. Would definitely recommend Mary’s place and I am confident we will be back.

Really enjoyed our stay in this lovely little annexe. Access to the beautiful garden (and outside kitchen!) is a real bonus, even though it was a bit too early in the year to really take advantage of this. Excellent location on the edge of town, with views to the hills but perfectly easy to walk in to the centre. Great walks from the door, plus lots of other things to do a short drive away. A brilliant area to visit, and Mary and Gary were friendly and helpful hosts. Oh, and Merlin the cat is happy to be stroked too!

We had a lovely time at Mary's and would love to visit again. Everything was very clean and comfortable and had everything you needed for a long weekends stay. The gardens were lovely to walk around and it all felt very welcoming. Thanks Mary!
