Morning coffee on the charming front porch overlooking Lake Seneca was lovely. The decor was welcoming and comfortable with a gas fireplace. The beds were comfortable with snuggly comforters--always important to me. This was my first Airbnb stay and I was impressed that so many amenities were provided in the kitchen and bathrooms. I wish we could have spent more time inside the house, especially the cozy living room, but we spent most of the time outdoors.

Beautiful home with everything we needed. No issues with communication or access. Location was perfect. Was a little weird not having the NY tax incorporated into the cost up front, but other than that it was great place. Thanks Maggie!

I stayed with my adult family for a week in October. We had a wonderful time and I'd thoroughly recommend it. Pros: - Really charming artists home. - Ample space for 5-6 adults. Two bathrooms plus a toilet helps. - 5mins walk from Wakins Glen town centre, which has some good shops and restuarants. - Walkable to Watkins Glen State Park which is one of the most remarkable natural landscapes I've ever seen. - Very cosy bedrooms. Heating is excellent and responsive. We were fine during a very chilly October week. - Nice views of the lake from the veranda. Cons: - The two showers struggled a little with water pressure when both running. - Pretty steep hill to walk up to get here. If you have mobility issues this may be of concern.

Great host, wonderful place. Awesome porch to sit, relax and watch the world go by. Highly recommend if you want the authentic Watkins Glen experience. Maggie provides everything you need plus everything you didn’t know you needed. Thanks Maggie, Rob and Donna

We had a wonderful time at Maggie’s house. The house is in a perfect location for exploring Watkins Glen and the Finger Lakes and we were able to walk to the Watkins Glen Gorge from the house. We enjoyed the spaciousness and the inviting front porch. Maggie’s flowers and succulents were beautiful. My only suggestion would be to upgrade the towels and linens. Thanks, Maggie, for helping to make our trip special!
