The only problem I had with this stay was the refrigerator. I went grocery shopping and once I placed food in refrigerator & freezer there was a major problem. Refrigerator was not working properly. I had to move all refrigerator items to freezer & my freezer items went to waste. I had to throw lots of food away which I was very disappointed from I was told they knew there was problems with refrigerator but failed to notify us. If I would've know I wouldn't waste my money on frozen food such as meat, ice cream, pancakes, french toast . .

This place definitely hidden gem 💎 Located only few steps away from the beach. Mark and Scott very responsive hosts and friendly as well what made our stay very welcoming and enjoyable. Also place was spotless and Scott turn AC for us which was very thoughtful considering weather condition at PR. We had a great time and definitely looking forward to come back again.

Mark was extremely hospitable and gave us lots of great tips on where to enjoy the beaches, sunset and surfing. We loved our time at his Casita and particularly enjoyed eating dinner as a family on the porch.

This is our family of four’s third time/week staying at the casitas and not coincidentally to Puerto Rico. It’s right on the beach where we snorkel outside, has all the amenities needed to be comfortable. The host/s are great, casita always spotless and host offered us fresh linens and supplies at the perfect time during our stay. It’s been fun watching pictures of our boys growing up vacationing the past six years on the porch of the casita, where we eat breakfasts, rock in the hammock, play games and listen to the coqui frogs at night. Five stars once again for the casitas, host and our stay at Shack’s beach.

This place was perfect. A beautiful garden surrounds a quaint beach cottage that is just a few steps to the beach. I almost don’t want to write an amazing review because I want to keep this gem of a place all to myself. I’ll be back for sure!
