Located between Boone & West Jefferson and convenient to the New River and Blue Ridge Parkway. Main Level: Greatroom with cathedral ceiling, gas logs and Flatscreen Smart Roku TV . Well equipped kitchen with stainless appliances, dishwasher, keurig coffee maker, blender, coffee grinder, standard coffee maker & all cookware, stoneware. Large windows to enjoy the views and creek. Comfy sofa & chair. Main level bedroom offers queen bed and Smart TV for streaming. Open the sliding doors off greatroom to the large open and part covered deck with Adirondacks and picnic table overlooking the trout stream and wooded privacy. Dine on the covered porch with patio set and gas grill. Main level bath offers custom tile walk in shower & double vanity. Upper level: loft bedroom offers king bedroom set (new high-end mattress in 2022). Lower Level: gameroom offers 2nd sitting area, slate billiard table, Foosball Table, Flatscreen Smart Roku TV. Full bath with shower, washer & dryer. Lower level covered deck enjoy the hot tub and high top table set. Down by the creek, enjoy smores and stories by the open firepit or let the kids splash in the water. Creekside picnic table. Other amenities: books, games, Dora play house, blocks, child/pet gate, WIFI, Dog Friendly: Small dog (25lbs or less) accepted with prior notice and approval. 2 dog max. No Puppies or other animals. Great private location, but close to Boone and West Jefferson. Loved sitting on the porch having my morning coffee and the hot tub at night. A very relaxing week in a charming cabin.
I loved our stay at Autumn Mist! The house was easy to find, instructions were easy to follow, from directions to house rules. The house was very clean and well decorated. The kitchen had all the things I needed and I appreciated the labels on the inside of the cabinets. The bedrooms were welcoming and comfortable. The porch is nice and wide and very inviting.The River provided many nice and relaxing afternoons. We enjoyed our stay. Thank you.

Take a scenic drive on the Blue Ridge Parkway and pick one of the hiking trails to meander such as the Mountain to Sea trail. Several waterfall trails as well. Mountain bikers will love Rocky Knob and the Virginia Creeper trails. Enjoy day trips to Tweetsie Railroad, Grandfather Mountain, Linville Caverns, and the ski resorts of Beech Mtn, Sugar Mtn and Appalachian Mtn. Come for a Weekend ~ Stay for a Lifetime!
Our mountain area will require an automobile to get around. Keep in mind the winter months may require 4-wheel drive due to snow.
