Melanie's place was above and beyond my expectations. She's the sweetest kindest heart-centered soul and is a delight to share a home with. Her place is on a beautiful peninsula surrounded by water and wildlife. A quaint cabin, room tucked amongst trees. I will definitely return. 5 Stars.

During my two months stay with my daughter and two grandchildren, I needed a room within walking distance of my daughter's house and Melanie's cottage was the one that best suited my request. All I expected was a clean comfortable bed but I found so much more. I fell in love as soon as I stepped into this lovely, tastefully furnished little cottage.After a tiring day with two small children, I was looking forward to the conversations we had with my nature and animal friendly host, who has traveled the world, accustomed to different cultures, in the softly lit living room, buried in comfortable armchairs in the warmth of the wood stove, and accompanied by a delicious glass of wine. It was a unique experience for me to wake up in a spacious and bright, tastefully furnish room. The room I stayed in was like a tree house, with wall-to-wall windows and lush green trees that looked like they would enter the room. Especially in the spring and summer months, it would be a pleasure to drink the delicious morning coffee offered by my host on the private terrace of the room allocated to the guests. I felt at home during my two months in Naoose bay and I would love to stay at Melaini's house in the years to come.

If you are looking for a friendly, helping host on the Island, like cats and have no problem with sharing a home, this is a nice place. Stunning stone beach in walking distance, very few people, a variety of birds and deer awaits you. Don‘t expect too much privacy, the description is a bit confusing - it is not a bedroom of two in a seperate cottage, it is Melanie‘s home with an additional bedroom attached to it.

I had a lovely stay in all-ways at this precious cozy, homey cottage in a quiet location. The 3 cats were so easy to be around and kept to themselves except to say an occasional hello. Love that there was absolutely no litter smell even in the laundry area where the litter box is. Your kitchen was perfect for cooking up my homemade fixing and the screened in porch was awesome. Deer visiting morning and nite was the icing on the cake. I loved it here and would definitely return. Great price for all that's here and Melanie couldn't be a better host. Just say YES if you're on the fence, you will not be dissappointed!
