Laura was a very gracious host and the house had all the facilities promised on the website. HOWEVER, I cannot recommend Laura's place. The heat in the house was unbearable. We understood that there was no air conditioning. But we certainly did not expect that there would be no air or no cross ventilation in the house. There were no screens on the windows. Consequently all kinds of bugs, mosquitos and flying insects entered if we left the windows open. Also it was impossible to really leave the windows open. There were very heavy shutters that had to be secured or they banged in the wind. In the kitchen when the window was open it was almost impossible to access the sink. The bedrooms were very hot and stuffy, making it hard to sleep. We were with two children (8 and 14) and they really suffered and did not sleep well. The three fans in the house only managed to move around the hot air a bit but did not give any real relief. I cannot recommend Laura's place in the summer.

Wonderful private place, with a large and private garden, and a great host. Would highly recommend it. Also, the house has been upgraded since the photos and it has an excellent WiFi. A perfect vacation house and a perfect vacation spot.

Perfect starting point for a vacation on Lake Garda. The house, perfectly located for us, is equipped with everything needed. Particularly noteworthy is the view from the terrace in front of the entrance door. Simply fantastic. The huge garden with beautiful olive trees and other beautiful plants invites you to relax and sunbathe. Also Frieda, our dog, came here fully at their expense. The whole thing is rounded off by the wonderful owner Laura, which is available with great tips. We will definitely come again.

What a beautiful peaceful place Laura’s house is! We felt instantly at home. Everything is nice, clean,spacious and fully equiped. A nice big fenced private garden with fruit trees and place for your car. Laura is the best and loving host you can imagine. Very nice communication and always available for every question. The house is special for Laura and her family, and we were happy to experience a small bit of the family history by spending our holiday here. It’s a true family house. We (fam of four with a dog) spend two weeks here but could easily stay here for many more. The house is close to the beach and the wonderful mountains. So if you love water and hiking, this place is paradise. If you like quietness and rest, this place is paradise. If you like Italian food and old authentic Italian villages, this place is paradise. (Also if you are looking for a top host) We will come back for sure! Thanks again Laura. Hugs from all of us

Abbiamo soggiornato da Laura per 3 settimane, ma saremmo rimasti molto di più se ci fosse stato possibile. La casa di Laura è un gioiellino: pulita, confortevole, provvista di tutto il necessario, circondata da un grande giardino. Sicuramente i principali punti di forza sono: -il lago a pochi passi -la vista del lago dal portico, dove è possibile mangiare o semplicemente rilassarsi -la quiete della natura e in generale la tranquillità del posto -il giardino grande e curato ad uso esclusivo -il posto auto e poi -Laura, che è un'host formidabile, attenta e sempre disponibile, molto simpatica e alla mano. Laura ci ha accolti raccontandoci del lago, di Malcesine, della sua infanzia trascorsa nella casa. Non ci ha semplicemente affittato una casa, ci ha messo a disposizione un angolo di paradiso perchè potessimo goderne anche noi. Un pensiero molto bello e davvero molto gradito. Lo consiglio assolutamente
