This house is a potential five star given location, view and lay-out. Unfortunately we had no hot water in the kitchen or master bath and could not get the heat in the entire house over 61 degrees, we suspect, due to a totally empty propane tank. Seven of us were here for four nights for a wedding. We needed to prepare food dishes for two wedding meals and had food safety concerns given the lack of hot water. We also had one less shower/ bathroom for use which was a definite inconvenience, though did not border on a safety concern. For the high end price of this rental, we expected the basic necessities of heat and hot water. While Vacasa and local property manager responded the next day to our first night call regarding a continually beeping smoke detector in the master bedroom, they did not respond to daily requests to fix the lack of hot water and lack of heat problems. We would not rent this house again.

Great place for families to stay at. It’s big enough and private enough to have your own privacy. Owner is always ready to answer any questions you may have and the place has a lot of rich history. Great place overall if your visiting Florence.

I was incredibly disappointed by the property in Florence. The house is large and clean but I felt deceived by the description. When I got to the house, I discovered the hot tub was broken and when I called customer service, they said it has been broken for a while now. That was one of the main features I was looking forward to and was very upset, I could have cancelled my reservation and opted for a location with a working hot tub. To top it, the jets in the master bath tub didn’t even work. I would have really appreciated a better photo of the beach access area as well. I was under the impression that there was beach access, but you have to climb down rocks which my grandmother. Oils not do and there is only a small area of beach in the morning when the tide is out. So we could not use the beach or hot tub area. Also, whoever was at the property before us left the trash can outside unsecured and in the night an animal got into the trash and spread garbage throughout the driveway which we cleaned up because it was gross, I would recommend having them secure it or putting it in a more secure location so guests don’t wake up to trash all over the driveway. When talking to customer service I was told the property manager would be in contact with me but it is now 48 hours later and I have yet to have anyone contact me. I wish I had spent my $2400 on a different property for the weekend.

Great place! Has huge and fancy as it looks. Super location and excellent lay out. Fully stocked kitchen a little dirty and some broken stuff but not bad at all didn't bother us. The extra apartment was great. Master suite will blow your mind! Will stay again for sure...
