My brother, his two youngest children, myself and my child visited this scenic mountain getaway for five whole days, and everything was better than we'd hoped for. Fantastic mountain views, very private and isolated enough that we mostly only heard the cicadas or leafhoppers and birds singing. The property has stunning views from every corner. We spent hours under the shadow form olive trees at the pool which is only a few steps from the house, clean and refreshing with chilled water with an absolutely incredible view of the valley below and mountains in the back. We walked up to an agent church beautifully situated up the steep path behind the tiny village and borrowed keys from our host to get inside the historic church to inspect the old fresco paintings on the church walls. We took short trips by car to amazing villages with breathtaking beauty of old buildings and narrow roads, adorable restaurants and historic ruins of great cultural value. We visited Europe's biggest waterfall and a museum with real mummies to the kids' excitement. There are three bedrooms in this gorgeous little house with comfortable double beds, clean linens and towels, and a private bathroom for each room. We even got fresh clean towels mid stay. There's mosquito nets in front of all windows which allowed us to keep the windows open at all times. Our lovely host lives just a couple of houses away and was easy to get in contact with whenever we needed to. She was very helpful, made sure we got discounts at the local sights and restaurants, and she let us expand stay without hesitation when our flight home weren't till late in the evening. Such a lovely experience for the whole family: We fell in love with the place and the people in it, and we cannot wait to come back.
