We cannot say enough to fully express how fantastic this accommodation is. Absolutely charming home, lovingly restored by Mark and his wife. All traditional features sympathetically retained, and tastefully decorated. I’d say it’s just like the photos, but it’s not, it’s better. It holds a little bit of magic that you can only experience in person. We arrived at sunset, which is the most beautiful time of day in Magalochori. Together with the village and its stand out beauty, it completely took our breath way. There’s not much that hasn’t been thought of to make your stay comfortable. Mark has thoughtfully provided hair dryer, iron, torch, candles, TV with Netflix, ice in the freezer, BBQ and tools, lots of fluffy towels, coffee machine with filter coffee , tea bags. We were even left a care package of food and drink including milk for a brew on arrival. Perfect! Mark is on hand at all times but not intrusive. If you’re thinking about booking, do it. You won’t be disappointed.

We spent a week in Alba Lily. We had a fantastic time in Megalochori. A really peaceful picturesque village with many lovely restaurants in walking distance. The house was superb. The pictures do not even do it justice. Very much a home with everything you would need. The small pool was a great bonus with the hot weather! Mark was a fantastic host from start to finish. Proactive, full of useful advice and a detailed hand over of how everything worked etc. I cannot recommend it enough.

Beautifully remodeled Cycladic Cave home. Very tasteful colors and furniture. Located out of the maddening crowds of Oia which is really quite refreshing. Easy access to the bus system which is what we used for transportation all over Santorini. Remember, you’re in ancient Greece & ancient sewer systems so, be prepared to use bathroom’s the trash receptacle!
