We had a wonderful stay at Elaine and Paul’s lovely home . All the facilities were as listed. we spent most of the time in the living room. opening onto the fabulous outdoor space. We spent some quality time outdoors too, admiring the garden, and of course the magnificent monkey puzzle tree after which the place is named. Our cohost Bella, the super friendly labrador, would come and meet us almost every day in the garden- making us feel at home. Also, the pub next door was our go to place every evening. Although I wish there was some convenience store within walking distance. Thankfully the place is well-connected to nearby Guildford by bus and Uber service for guest like us who may come without a car. Overall a lovely stay. Highly recommended.

Nice touches such as coffee tea sugar in kitchen instruction booklets not seen but was able to operate. No satellite signal to tv but Wi-Fi worked perfectly. Gardens well maintained and outside power sockets very useful for my PHEV hybrid car. Paul end Elaine very friendly .

This was a brilliant place to stay. It was spotlessly clean, with every amenity you might need, even a desk in every room (we had come there to write)! It was also very quiet, and surrounded by beautiful mature trees. The photos are good but don't entirely do the place justice - the living room and kitchen area, in particular, was completely lovely. I think you do have to not mind dogs as the two lovely dogs came to visit when we were sitting outside but they were extremely well-behaved, quiet and charming. No sign of the cats! We were two minutes walk from the excellent Worplesdon Place hotel where we went for some meals, and for coffee. We would definitely like to stay at Monkeypuzzle again.
