My family and I had a wonderful time at Case de Marifiki. The surroundings were beautiful and the attractions were close by! I highly recommend selecting this home as your home Away from Home.

We really enjoyed our stay at Casa Marafiki. The setting was stunning and we spent almost every day in the crystal clear infinity pool overlooking the forests and ocean. Our flight arrived late and we didn't get to the house until after 1am. But Agustin, the caretaker, met us in the closest town to guide us to the house and help get us set up. You will definitely need a four wheel drive vehicle to get there. There is a beach nearby and hiking opportunities. It's about 30 min in either direction to get to a grocery store and to the bigger towns that have good restaurants but that wasn't a problem and we liked that it was "centrally" located to nearby attractions. They also recommended a tour guide Alex who turned out to be fantastic. The beds were comfortable but there aren't shades to block the light. However, that turned out to be helpful since nearly all activities start very early in the morning due to the heat and it helped us to wake up! We look forward to visiting again!

We had a lovely time at Casa de Marafiki. The house was amazing and the views were stunning. The photos don’t do it justice. We had a friendly toucan that kept us company while we enjoyed the amazing infinity pool. Agustin took care of us during our stay and was very helpful when it came to recommending activities, booking sunset horseback riding for us and snorkeling out in Quepos. He also met us at the house when we first arrived and made sure we were comfortably settled, and anytime we needed his help, he was always quick to respond to our messages. Location is private and mid way between all the surrounding regions. Great experience! Highly recommend. Pura vida!

The house was great and the views were amazing. The sunsets were absolutely beautiful. Pictures do not do it justice. We were looking for a getaway before my wife’s surgery and this definitely fit the bill. This was our first trip to Costa Rica but it definitely won’t be our last. There are several local restaurants within 10 minutes of the house that are amazing. If you are looking for a place with amazing views that is very private and peaceful then you will be extremely happy with this place.

We went to John’s home for our honeymoon! The photos do not do this location justice, the view is simply outstanding. Sunrise and sunset (sunset is the best I’ve ever seen), just perfect. Very private & safe location. Definitely get the 4x4 vehicle, the drive up the mountain is a bit rocky & needed. Kendry/Agustín had amazing communication throughout the process. The location also was perfect, right in between Utiva/Dominical/Quepos - the best of all worlds was always within a 40min drive.
