We are so excited to have guests and meet different people! We have been married for 25 years. We were avid trail riders on horseback and rode hundreds of trails in many states. We sold our California home and retired in 2005, bought a motorhome and traveled full time with our horses until we discovered this beautiful area in Oklahoma and settled here and built this home. We then got interested in crappie fishing, some ATV riding and now motorcycling! Our horses have since passed and now we have three miniature horses to run and play in the pasture. We love to travel and are blessed to have been able to visit so many places. Terry was born in Oklahoma but grew up in California. He served in the military for 20 years and was stationed overseas in Germany, Italy and the Azore Islands. He was in the Air Force Security Forces. He did law enforcement patrol, trained drug/bomb dogs and was chief investigator at his last base before he retired. After the Air Force he opened his own private investigator business in Southern California and he also taught high school for 16 years in the Air Force Jr. ROTC program. After moving here to Oklahoma in 2006, he became a licensed handgun instructor and teaches classes once a month. He works part time as the code enforcement officer for the Town of Talihina. Terry enjoys traveling, motorcycle riding, ATVing, dogs, working on his 1940 classic car and enjoying a cold beer on the deck. He likes watching Live PD, Pawn Stars, American Pickers, boxing, football, Blue Bloods and Criminal Minds. He loves cars -- from sports cars to classic cars. Terry enjoys classic rock, pop and oldies music. Sherri grew up in the Gulf Coast of Florida and moved to California after high school. She is retired from the administrative field. She was executive assistant to several vice presidents at the corporate headquarters of Carl's Jr., Boston Market and Diedrich Coffee in California. Her latest position was executive assistant to the president of a commercial real estate firm. She now enjoys volunteering with the local food bank program. Sherri enjoys walks and therapy visits with the miniature horses, traveling, ATVing, motorcycle riding, studying the Bible, designing digital photo books on Shutterfly, yardwork/landscaping, playing with the dogs, and enjoying that cold beer on the deck with her husband! We are very considerate people and will do our best to give you the best experience here -- whether you want privacy or want to visit and hang out, we're good with either! We'll give you all kinds of info about places to see around the area or places to eat!
