We had a wonderful stay, loved the aesthetic of the cottage, and enjoyed the fireplace and views of the lake. We were sad to leave, definitely plan to return.

If you are looking for a cozy stay in, Little Elk is truly a perfect little spot for a relaxing getaway. Our weather forecast was snow and heavy wind all weekend, so we stayed on the coziest couch in front of the warm fireplace, bindge watching a new show on the smart TV. We would book again for another winter weekend stay in, or look forward to the warmer months to enjoy the cute yard with a firepit and the lake! We enjoyed cooking breakfast, sipping our coffee, and reading at the kitchen bar in the mornings. Chelsea is so kind and very responsive. Little Elk was well stocked with the essentials. Things we brought and were happy we did: -Our blankets from home to cozy up on the couch. (They did have some blankets there in the closets) - Breakfast food, coffee, and our milk frother for 'lattes'. Things we would bring with me next time: My hot water kettle for tea Body wash or soap Our pillows from home. (The bed was comfortable, but we were disappointed with the pillows)

This is a gem of a place with a beautiful energy, view and surroundings. The couch and beds are cozy and soft, and the fireplace and fire pit were nice for our family to enjoy. There’s some cute places nearby and we loved the toys and thoughtful touches around the home which really made the stay feel like a treat. Would love to book again.
