Stunning apartment - even nicer than the pictures. The area has good restaurants and cafes - don’t miss the farmer’s market on Saturdays! Unfortunately there is no elevator, which might be a problem for those with very heavy bags/mobility issues - but we were fine. The host was very kind and helpful. Thanks for a great stay!

Soggiorno bellissimo. La casa è meravigliosa, ancora più bella delle fotografie. Si allontana dallo standard turistico ed è arredata in modo essenziale molta eleganza. È molto grande, tranquilla e silenziosa, anche se si trova in un quartiere vivace. Exarchia è una zona storicamente intellettuale e libertaria e questo si percepisce dall’atmosfera non turistica, dalla presenza di moltissime librerie e luoghi d’incontro sociale e dall’assenza di catene internazionali di commercio. Da casa Marò si arriva a piedi in molti luoghi interessanti: Museo Archeologico Nazionale e collina di Strefi (a due passi), Museo Benaki, Museo di arte cicladica, monte Licabetto (bellissima passeggiata nel verde e vista stupenda sulla città). Il metro Omonia è a 8 minuti a piedi e ci sono molti autobus nelle vicinanze. Tanti ristoranti e bar di tutti i tipi (ma non turistici) si trovano nelle strade vicine,. Siamo molto felici del nostro soggiorno e speriamo di ripeterlo presto. Grazie a Marò e Eirini!

The townhouse is gorgeous. The tiny details of the ceilings, the claw foot tub, beds, shutters. It’s really amazing. And the deep claw foot tub was the best part. Hosts were always available and proactive. I had canceled a stay somewhere else and hosts took the last minute reservation. Near the city park with a dog park and great restaurants. I got a lot of work done, which was exactly what I needed.

We had a great stay, the apartment is beautiful and exactly like the pictures - an apartment from another era with old world charm. Irene, who manages the property, is fantastic. Super responsive and has great recommendations on everything from restaurants to must see attractions to suggested routes to walk to places to get the most scenic views. The area is lively, fun and full of locals and really great food! Enjoyed our stay and would love to stay again!
