In the beautiful village of Atsipopoulo a few kilometres from Rethymno centre, you will meet the luxury guest house 'Villa Rogdia', which is a 200 sq metres villa with a private swimming pool and can host up to 8 persons. In this villa you will find out how tradition and luxury can coexist. Would you like to explore how tradition and luxury can coexist in the same house? If yes, villa Rogdia is definitely your holiday home. Respecting the traditional architecture of Crete we have restored an old traditional house of 1903 in the center of a picturesquare village. In the meantime, we have added at this house all the modern and luxury elements of a new house in order the guests can have relaxing and peacful holidays. Villa Rogdia awaits you to experience the Cretan hospitality, tradition and history, as well as pleasurable moments of relaxation and serenity. Villa Rogdia locates at the same property with two other villas, Elia and Myrtia at the center of village Atsipopoulo, which can meet all your first needs. Supermarket, bakery, groceries and butchery shop, cofee shop, restaurants, ATM and pharmacy are all in walking distance (200 metres from the entrance of the villas). However, as you come in from the entrance of the villas, the whole atmosphere changes, as our villas locate inside the nature in a peaceful and ideal for relaxing enviroment. The center of Rethymno is also 5 kilometres away and 10 minutes drive. Villa Rogdia is concstructed in maisonette style, measures 200 m2 and has a private swimming pool and a huge balcony. Moreover,it can host 8 persons in 4 bedrooms. Two of them have a double bed and en suite bathroom and the rest two have two single beds each. On the ground floor you will find the living area with a luxury sitting room, a fireplace, a full-equipped kitchen and a dining area. It also includes a WC, a luxury bathroom with hydromassage, an entertaiment area and a lavatory. The top floor consists of the bedrooms. There are 2 bedrooms with a double bed and en suite bathroom and two bedroos with a single bed each. Moreover, there is a small bathroom for the single bedrooms, a lavatory and access to the two balconies. The huge one has with a view of the swimming pool, the traditional village nearby and the nature, while the second one has a view of thet traditional village. All the rooms are air-conditioned. The villa is equipped with Satellite television, DVD player, CD Player and radio, Coffee machinet, Microwave, Toaster, Dishwasher, Clothes washer, Deposit box, Hair-dryer and Baby cot. The exterior of the villa includes a 27 sq.metres private swimming pool, a dining table and seats for all the 8 persons, as well as 8 sunbeds in order you can enjoy the cretan sun. In addition, the villa has its own barbeque facilities for your personal use. The swimming pool of the villa can also be heated with an extra cost of 40 euros per day (upon request at least 7 days before arrival and valid only for the whole booking) The location of the villas are ideal for exploring our whole island. Located in the center of the north part of Crete, only 3 kilometres from the highway provides easy access from the local airports (Heraklion and Chania) and the opportunity to visit from the big cities of the island to the smallest beaches in both north and south part of Crete.

We had a fantastic holiday and can definitely recommend Georgioss house. The house is beautiful and unique and Georgioss and his family are nice and helpful. The city is cozy and many good places nearby. We would recommend a rental car. We look forward to coming back. 🩵
Villa Rogdia ist sehr liebe- und stilvoll sowie großzügig eingerichtet und war absolut sauber. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt! Besonders haben wir die Zeit auf der großen Sonnenterrasse und im privaten Pool genossen. Trotz überraschend hohen Außentemperaturen empfiehlt es sich, diesen Ende März/Anfang April beheizen zu lassen. Die Lage zeichnet sich dadurch aus, dass man die Möglichkeit hat, schnell an der Schnellstraße zum Flughafen bzw. sämtlichen Ausflugszielen zu sein und trotzdem nicht in einer touristisch überlaufenen Gegend wohnt. Vielmehr ist man mitten drin in einem kleinen Örtchen mit lokalen Bäckereien, griechischem Supermarkt und kleinen Restaurants. Besonders möchten wir uns bei George und seiner Familie für ihre Gastfreundschaft bedanken. Er war stets erreichbar und hilfsbereit und stellt viele nützliche Informationen zur Verfügung. Das traditionelle griechische Essen, von seiner Mutter gekocht, war köstlich! Wir hatten hier einen unserer schönsten Familienurlaube.
Omg what a wonderful holiday from start to finish! George goes above and beyond with his helpfulness and organisation of amenities! He booked our car hire and made suggestions to restaurants and places of interest which were amazing! The villa is bigger than pictures suggest and the pool is absolutely stunning, we spent lazy days enjoying the sunshine and the pool. The local town is perfect everything, supermarket, bakery and restaurants. Plus you have Rethymnon 5 mins drive which it just a stunning and friendly town with a beautiful beach. We didn’t want to leave, thank you George and your mum for your welcome and for letting us stay in your fantastic villa 🥰 p.s the local cats are super cute and visited us daily for their treats 🐈🐈🐈 xxx
We had a wonderful stay at the villa and were welcomed warmly late at night by George. A plate of delicious sandwiches and a warm cheese pastry dish awaited which were most welcome after a long journey, so thoughtful. The villa is stunning, beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. The beds are comfortable, the windows have shutters to give you a great night sleep. The air con is quiet and efficient. There was so much space for our family of 7, we have grown up children and their partners. The pool and terrace are stunning. We loved being at the villa and such a treat to have a clean and linen change every 3 days.There are coffee shops, pharmacy, supermarket and restaurants in easy walking distance. We had a wonderful meal cooked by George’s Mum Maria. We loved our daily coffee and pastry from the bakery! The local restaurants in the village are great and the village is lovely to walk around. A fabulous place to stay. Thank you George and family.
Our stay at the villa was perfect in every way. The layout both inside and out is just amazing. Plenty of space for everyone and rooms finished to a very high spec. George is so very kind and helpful and nothing is too much trouble. All done with grace and a smile. Check his Mum and Sisters gift shop - fabulous handmade pieces at a very reasonable price. Our villa locates in the center of village Atsipopoulo. That makes access to all the local amenities more than easy. In only 2 minutes walking you can visit supermarket, restaurants, coffee shops, ATM, bakery, pharmacy and anything else that you will need. However, our villa facilities can quarantee to you all the calmness and privacy needed to enjoy your holidays the most.
Atsipopoulo village is also a very picturesquare village. A walk in the narrow streets of it and a visit to the traditional churches and places will bring you in contact with the greek tradition.
A bus stop is only 50 metres from the entrance of our villa. The guests can easily take the bus to Rethymno city or the Rethymno bus station and from there explore the whole Crete.
Moreover, taxi service is available with a phone call.
We can organize for our guests the transfer from the airport (Heraklion or Chania), as well as a car rental.

My name is George Kokkinakis and i have studied Mechanical Engineering in NTUA. As my family is the owner of the two beautiful villas, Elia and Myrtia, i have started organizing renting our villas to guests all over the word. I have made some lessons learning how to communicate with my guests, but i think that contact with guests is the best school, so that is my priority. I and my family are always next to our guests before and during their stay and we are trying every year to offer best services to our guests to logical prices.
