Great space for two families with young kids. The kids loved all the animals, picking plums and figs, the trampoline and swimming pool. Highly recommend the restaurant run by Vanessa and Vincent. The setting is beautiful and the food amazing. We enjoyed swimming and canoeing on the river, horse riding, the market and night market at Issigeac and visiting Chateau Bridoire.

Vanessa couldn't have been more welcoming; that said, she's sensitive to different people's "needs" of space, peach and quiet too... so adaptable and can "read" what you want. The space is brilliant, and bigger than it looks. Easily swallows up a whole family. In all, we'll be booking again. Simple. Best regards - Joe & the Nipper.

We had a fantastic stay at La Closerie de la Beyne. The property is in an idyllic setting and our 3 little children loved exploring the grounds. Vanessa and her family are great hosts and we hope to visit again soon.

My family and I had an amazing stay in Vanessa and Vincent’s gite. The accommodation contained everything we needed during our stay and Vincent kindly gave us a guided tour around their grounds, which are extensive! Vincent gave a great recommendation for a fabulous walk/run which gave beautiful views of the area. The property is super quiet, really safe for our 3 children to race around, full of animals, especially the horses which Rosemary very kindly allowed my daughter to groom. Vincent also made sure games such as table tennis, badminton and pétanque were available for our kids to enjoy. We spent our last evening at Vincent and Vanessa’s restaurant which was delicious! Totally amazing food and wine, an experience that must be had whilst staying and one I’d of happily repeated if we’d of stayed for longer. Vanessa gave us a superb tip for an Easter egg hunt the following day at a local chateau which each of my children thoroughly enjoyed. A great few days in the dordogne.

What a gem! Gorgeous spot in the middle of the beautiful Dordogne nature. The house is charming, cozy, tastefully decorated and very spacious. Vanessa and her family are very warm people, very welcoming and helpful. We couldn't have imagined a more perfect spot. We will be back for sure!
