Emma’s house was in a beautiful location, we have always loved Thorpeness as it’s so peaceful and quaint. You can take a walk along the coast to Aldeburgh or stay in Thorpeness and take advantage of the lovely coffee shops and emporium. As a group of ladies on our annual weekend away the house was perfect. The sitting room cosy and comfy for us all and the bedrooms warm and clean. The dining table was also perfect for 8 of us to have our evening meal. We had an issue with the water one morning but it was quickly resolved with a guy coming out to check on us, very helpful. The garden overlooks the sea, a bit blustery for us to sit out but I can imagine in the summer months it would be the perfect location to sit and take in the nature. We would highly recommend Emma’s house.

The most idyllic property that was home for a long weekend for a group of ladies. The view is like nothing else, the house is very cute, lovely and warm, lots of crockery and cutlery and plenty of cosy spaces to all hang out together

We had a fabulous week. The kitchen was very well stocked with every utensil you could wish for. We managed to feed ten in the dining room but it was snug. The rooms were comfortable, the atmosphere was relaxing and homely. The proximity to the sea was an absolute bonus and facilitated easy swimming even in late October! Having the second bathroom as a 'walk through' meant we mainly used the shower room. The stairs were quite steep but we all managed. The location was excellent and the grandchildren had a wonderful time as well as the adults. Thank you for a brilliant and memorable holiday.

Lovely house with plenty of charm and character plus great sea views. The cottage is well equipped and we had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay. There’s a great pub only a short walk away. The unseasonably warm weather was an added bonus.
