Walk to ocean, eateries, groceries, shops, kayak/bike rental, summer ferry to Bar Harbor. 1200 sq ft. 2 QUEEN, 2 TWIN BEDS sleep 6 max. Guests clean kitchen, take out trash before departure. Owner Kathleen. Host Cheryl. REQUIRED: EMAIL, ADDRESS, CELL #, names of guests. 2 car limit. Driveway parking No animals. Acadia Winter Harbor House in Maine has 3 bedrooms. 2 queen beds and 2 twin beds, sleeps up to 6 people. One small half bath on main floor, tub/shower bathroom on second level near bedrooms. One of the queen bedrooms is tiny but cozy. Full kitchen equipped for meal prep. Comfortable, clean, convenient but not chic or upscale. NO PETS. NO SMOKING/vaping/candles/fires. No day or night guests other than the people you list when you make your reservation. Exterior 24/7 security cameras monitor the front exterior and driveway of the house only. Base price is for two people. Small extra charge for more than 2 guests and all guests must be included when booking. Vacation rental Maine welcomes you! Note that this is a country village setting. Common are deer, chipmunks, squirrels, mice, even mosquitoes! Look up to see eagles, gulls, osprey.

Perfect! We chose this place because of family proximity, but we didn’t know when we booked , it was right next door! This made the stay even more perfect for us! We felt right at home! This place is immaculate, and provided extra items like baking supplies for our extended stay that we didn’t know we would need. The hosts thought of everything! I can not give a higher rating except to say, we will be back next year!!!
Cheryl's place was walkable to Winter Harbor, and very close to the Schoodic section of the Acadia National Park. The house was decorated nicely, and had notes all over to help guide us around the area or know where household items are. Cheryl and Kathleen were both helpful and answered any questions needed. Highly recommend!
Sister Getaway, wanting to explore Maine & Acadia Natl Park. Had no idea there was more park on the Schoodic Peninsula until I saw heading for this place. As I learned more, we decided to stay here just to see what the area had to offer. Loved the quiet & natural beauty, even though we had tropical storms traveling up into Maine during out trip. It was absolutely lovely on this Peninsula! A definite highlight of our trip! Loved exploring the Schoodic Peninsula. Highly recommend this place. Kathleen and Cheryl were great. We booked on very short notice for our 20th anniversary. They were fast to respond, reached out and told us we could check in early if needed (that’s never happened to me without asking). The house was in a great location, easy to get in and out of, and overall a great property.
Had a wonderful time at Cheryl’s place. Communication was fantastic and location was perfect for what we were looking for. Will come back again for sure!

VIEW of Acadia National Park's iconic Cadillac Mountain from our back deck! Surrounding area is quiet and peaceful in a private neighborhood. Less than 1 mile from the entrance to the beautiful Schoodic Point section of Acadia National Park. Within walking distance to the harbor, seasonal restaurants, shops, galleries and the seasonal passenger ferry to Bar Harbor. The grocery store is within walking distance. Within the complex, just steps away, there is a playscape for kids to enjoy, brick paths, a picnic table in a gazebo. One minute from kayak and bike rentals. In a quiet, family neighborhood in town but on a private cul de sac removed from traffic.

The seasonal passenger ferry to Bar Harbor is 1/2 mile away, on Sargent St. Kayak and bike rentals are within 1/2 mile.

We have two kids and a house full of animals! My husband was born and raised in winter harbor and I have been all over the USA my father was in the coast guard for 28 years .
