Marita and Alberto were gracious hosts, tending to me and my daughter very well. They altered breakfast to match C's tastes, and helped her out with a little first aid and a bandaid after some youthful exuberance led to a scrape. The area is quite hilly, and while it makes for a serious walk to dinner, it also allows for lovely views, including from their back porch where breakfast is served.

Great place! The room is cute and comfortable. The bathroom is inside the room. There is an A/C, linens, towels, soap and shampoo. Your car is safe inside the gate, right outside your room. The common eating area has a beautiful view of a lush garden with a variety of plants and birds. We left too early for breakfast, but the hosts were so kind to have coffee, hot chocolate and homemade donuts for us. Communication was almost instant, and they were very accommodating of our odd schedule. Such a lovely place!

Ich habe mich und meine Freundin bei Marita und Albert von Anfang an wie zu Hause gefühlt. Die beiden sind liebevoll und sehr gastfreundlich. Maritas Frühstück ist der Hammer, frisch gepressten Säfte,Obstschale,Reis mit Bohnen,Gebratene Gemüse,Maniok .....wir waren bis spät Nachmittag immer noch satt.Die Terrasse mit dem Blick in den Garten war spektakulär,mann fühlt sich wie im Paradies. Das Zimmer war sehr gemütlich eingerichtet und blitzsauber. Alles super zu Fuss erreichbar,einkaufen,Restaurants und der See liegt nur 10 min zu Fuss enfernt. Da wir kein Auto hatten, haben uns Marita und Albert immer geholfen und nettenTaxifahrer(Isaac) empfohlen,um die Gegend zu erkunden.Wir haben Marita und Albert ins Herz geschlossen und ein paar wunderschöne Abende beim Essen und gemeinsamen Lachen verbracht.Ich würde immer wieder bei den beiden übernachten...... es war sehr schwer von dort wegzufahren .Wir hatten Tränen in den Augen. Es ist ein magischer Ort und wie die Ticos(einheimischen)sagen PURA VIDA.🤗

Marita and her husband Albert could not have been nicer! Their place is clean, well taken care of, the breakfast is big and delicious, and they both helped us immensely with planning our days in the area. Albert even drove in front of us for a bit to make sure we didn't miss the turn for Monteverde! The porch is a great place to relax and watch the occasional parrot or other birds. Thanks for the great memories!
