A beautiful cosy cottage, in a gorgeous village. The welcome pack was made up of thoughtful, local products. The furnishings are stylish and practical, and it's the best-equipped AirBnB I've ever stayed at.
An exquisite little cottage that has been beautifully restored. Everything we needed was provided and there were plenty of little touches that made our stay special. And our dog fell in love with the dog bed provided. You really get the feeling that Julie cares about her guests and goes the extra mile to ensure they have a fabulous stay - we certainly did. Highly recommended.
The Old Toffee Shop cottage is simple lovely, close to all local amenities in Tideswell. Everything inside the cottage is what made our stay so relaxing, the outside dog washing room was so convenient after our long wet walk!! Fluffy bathroom robes and crisp bed linen ticked all the boxes. We would definitely recommend staying at this beautiful cottage.

We loved our stay at The Old Toffee Shop Cottage. The cottage is beautiful and even better than the pictures. All of the furniture and furnishings are gorgeous. The beds were super comfy and Julie had thought of everything. Julie was so quick to communicate. When we couldn’t work the hob (our fault) but Julie text me back within minutes! We were celebrating my husbands 40th and Julie was kind leaving some yummy goodies and Prosecco. Definitely one of the best airbnbs I’ve stayed in and perfect for a family of 4. The cottage is absolutely spotless. Parking is easy outside and we had a fab meal at the Merchants Yard. The village is very lovely and a great base for exploring the to Peaks. Thank you and we hope to be back soon!

自我介绍
We are a couple from Leicester who love the Peak District especially Tideswell. The Old Toffee Shop - TOTS is truly our 2nd home & we would love one day to move to the village which has everything we need. We have travelled around the world extensively but in 2016 we got our first little dog who has changed our lives for the better. Hence I in particular have no desire to go abroad any more as I miss our beautiful black cocker spaniel far too much, when I leave her at home with my parents. TOTS took us about 18 months to renovate and our original budget was 'blown out' of the window, but we hope people love it as much as we do. My husband Nigel is first class carpenter & he has made 99% of the all the furniture in the property, kitchen, bathroom, lounge & bedroom units all courtesy of him. I am so very proud of what we have acheived & I am constantly looking for ways to keep improving and listening to what our customers want & need. I am so very glad that we have a little courtyard to tend at TOTS as I love gardening & I have adopted the cherry tree on the pavement outside the cottage keeping it tidy around the base & looking smart & as pretty as I can.
