We had a really relaxed, peaceful stay at Helen’s barn studio. Incredibly wet windy weather some of the time due to Storm Kathleen but we were cosy, really warm and comfortable. The location is perfect exploring the western side of the beacons and there are stunning mountain tops right out the back. Helen is a lovely thoughtful host - we arrived to delicious fresh laid blue eggs, local coffee, a bottle of wine and big box of logs - with more logs available when needed. Thoroughly recommend.

We absolutely loved staying at Helen's barn - it's a very comfortable and nicely decorated space with everything you need in a beautiful, serene setting, just overlooking a meadow with sheep (and new-born lambs!) grazing, and a stream. We enjoyed sitting by the wood stove after our hikes, or having breakfast on the little terrace. Helen is a very friendly, welcoming and responsive host, and offered plenty local tips and OS walking maps to use, as well as a generous starter pack including bread, butter, coffee, wine and fresh (Easter) eggs from her own hens. We didn't want to leave and hope to be back before long!

We absolutely loved our stay in Helen’s place. It exceeded our expectations. It was beautiful and the setting was tranquil with a beautiful backdrop of river sounds. We were greeted by a lovely welcome pack which was very generous. Helen was lovely and so responsive and helpful. We will definitely be returning and recommending to our friends. ❤️ xx

Helen’s airbnb was very clean and in the ideal location, only short drives to the popular waterfalls. On arrival Helen was very friendly and welcoming, and provided a collection of goodies including wine and bread etc. We appreciated this alot, Thankyou! The airbnb itself had everything you’d need for a lovely week and Helen checked in every few days to make sure we had everything we needed! Would definitely recommend !

This is an outstanding place to stay, we cannot praise Helen and Peter enough. On arrival there was a lovely welcome, including lots of goodies. The studio is lovely and comfortable, with everything you could possibly need to hand. It is peaceful and we enjoyed sitting in the lovely patio area soaking up the sun. The studio is ideally situated for visiting local sights, interesting towns and quiet walks in the hills and woodlands. Helen and Peter were so friendly and helpful and that’s what made our week holiday so special. We will definitely be back.
